Shoppers headed to Walmart were being turned around at the door Monday afternoon.
The Roanoke Walmart store had to shut its doors to customers this morning after a brief power outage disabled its computer systems. The store was still closed as of noon on Monday.
Employees were stationed outside the store to convey the message to those looking to do their shopping.
According to those employees, the power inside the store flickered on and off briefly around 7:30 this morning, and after that none of the computer systems that allow the store to function were operational.
There was no timeframe given for when the store would be able to re-open its doors.
