Dustin Clint “Duck” Taylor

(NEWELL) Funeral services for Dustin Clint “Duck” Taylor, 49, of Newell will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Randall Skinner officiating. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m. on Wednesday before services begin.
Mr. Taylor passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy Taylor of Newell; daughter, Mikayla Wilkinson (Austin) of Bluff Springs; son, Jordan O’Neal of Newell; two grandchildren, Cambri and Colson and one on the way; two sisters, Jan Howard of Temple, Ga., and Carla Boyd (Randall) of Newell; and two brothers, Willie Charles Taylor and Kenneth Taylor, both of Newell.
Pallbearers will be Randy Camp, Mark Lovvorn, Danny Bailey, Quinton Blanks, Dakota Taylor and Taylor Boyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Boyd, Austin Wilkinson, Jordan O’Neal and Colson Wilkinson.
A Newell native, Mr. Taylor was born on Dec. 24, 1976, the son of Willie Boyd and Mary Joyce Stillwell Taylor. He was Christian by faith and worked as a carpenter. Mr. Taylor enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking for his friends and family in his free time. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Andrew Taylor; and two brothers, Morris Taylor and Danny Taylor.
