John Robert Sudduth, Jr.
(ROANOKE) Graveside services for John Robert Sudduth, Jr., 95, of Roanoke will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Randolph Memory Gardens with Bro.Chance Meinzer officiating.
Mr. Sudduth passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, in Lineville.
Survivors include: one daughter, Jenny Williamson of Elberta; two sons, John Robert Sudduth, III, (Beth) of Oxford and Terry Sudduth of Roanoke; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Sudduth of Faragut, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be Candace Jenkins, Eden Owen, Kevin Muldrew, Render Yarbrough, Walter Sudduth, Mike Parmer, John Robert Sudduth, IV and Robert Sudduth.
A Laverne native, Mr. Sudduth was born on March 15, 1929, the son of John Robert Sudduth, Sr., and Sue Stitt Sudduth. He was a member of Lebanon Christian Church, served in the Alabama National Guard for 16 years, and worked for 54 years at Milliken as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Sudduth was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Bartlett Sudduth; and a sister, Carolyn Hendon.
