Mary Lee Awbrey

(ALABASTER) Mary Lee Awbrey passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Frank Pierce Lee and Lorena Mae Hudson Lee of Roanoke.
Mrs. Awbrey graduated from Handley High School in Roanoke. Mrs. Awbrey was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Chalkley Awbrey; and her sister, Nancy Lee Bailey.
Mrs. Awbrey is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon L. Armstrong (David), Tanya A. Awbrey and Letitia A. Youngblood (Tommy); five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces, Megan Busby, Libby Whaley, Leisel Caldwell and Laura Lee Lumpkin.
At the request of Mrs. Awbrey a private service was held on Dec. 12 at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
