Garfield Clark

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Garfield Clark, 81, of Roanoke were held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 4 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Whaley officiating. Burial followed at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke.

Mr. Clark passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1 at his residence.

Survivors include his loving wife, Paulette Burke Clark of Roanoke; two daughters, Cindy Clark and Angel Payne (Richard) both of Roanoke; one son, Jeff Clark (Kathy) of Wedowee; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

Pallbearers were Cody Clark, Russell Clark, Lawrence Payne, Ryan Payne, Dallas Vineyard, and Tanner Landreth. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Clark, Jr. and Eric Payne.

A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mr. Clark on July 31, 1942, the son of Eulues Garfield “E.G.,” Sr. and Iva Dale Brown Clark. He was Christian by faith and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Clark was self-employed as a machinist at Clark Machine Shop in Roanoke for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
