On Wednesday, May 22, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Department was in the area of the 2000 block of County Road 10 in the Micaville area of Cleburne County in reference to a fugitive possibly being at this location.
As units arrived at the location, a deputy noticed that the subject in which they were looking for was sitting inside a vehicle on the property. At that time, the subject began to flee through a thick wooded area of the property in which at that time units lost visual of the subject.
Due to the subject being a suspect in multiple felony crimes and having escape warrants through Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from multiple agencies to assist with the apprehension of this subject.
During the investigation a stolen vehicle, firearm, and tools were recovered.
Around 5:30 pm the subject was apprehended and taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit by Law Enforcement.
The following person was arrested resulting of this incident and transported to the Cleburne County Jail:
Joshua Matthew Pinkard, Randolph County, AL – Age 26 / White / Male. This subject has multiple charges in Cleburne County as well as with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
This subject is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
