June 2 – County Road 82, Foster’s CrossroadsA known individual has reportedly been breaking into New Home Church and using the water and restroom facilities.
June 3 – County Road 499, Ava Community
The title and bill of sale were reported missing from a vehicle.
June 3 – County Road 33, Level Road Community
An individual displaying symptoms of dementia and armed with a handgun confronted a family member.
June 3 – County Road 113, near Pleasant Hill Church
Property owners reported that an individual living on their property in a motor home was asked to leave in March after his pets killed a cat and a chicken. He did not leave. On May 29, his red-nosed pit bull allegedly attacked and killed their dog, which later had to be euthanized. The property owners have since contacted the Circuit Clerk’s Office regarding the removal of the individual from their property.
June 5 – Highway 48, Woodland
An attempted break-in was reported at Alabama RV Service Center.
June 5 – County Road 689, Rock Stand Community
A dark gray 2004 GMC Sierra with a black toolbox and a gold 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe LS equipped with a roof rack and steel whip antenna were reported stolen.
June 5 – County Road 499, Levens Chapel Community
Wedowee Utilities reported that the lock on a water meter had been cut for the second time, resulting in approximately 600 gallons of unauthorized water usage.
June 7 – County Road 59, Potash Community
A resident returned home Sunday morning to find his residence on fire. One side of the home was fully involved when deputies arrived. Most items inside sustained heavy smoke and water damage, including numerous reptilian pets. Volunteer firefighters from Rock Stand, Tin Shop and New Hope responded to the scene.
June 7 – County Road 429, Graham
A red and black Hyper Tough push mower was reported stolen.
June 7 – County Road 80, Smyrna Community
A storage building was burglarized. Stolen items included a stereo system, wood-burning stove/heater, sink, ride-on electric cooler, minnow bucket, deep-sea fishing tackle, two trolling motors, four crosscut saws, five metal stools, multiple small wooden bats, and miscellaneous air tools, wrenches and chainsaw chains. A chain securing a side gate to the property had been cut.

Michael Leonard Hann, 48, of Roanoke — Failure to appear in court (child support) — June 4
Kimberly Deann Harris, 35, of Roanoke — Failure to appear in court (child support) — June 4
Kenneth Scott Kirby, 53, of Roanoke — Failure to appear in court (child support) — June 4
Alvin Samuel Nichols, 40, of Jasper — Failure to appear in court (first-degree receiving stolen property) — June 4
Dakota B. Strickland, 33, of Munford — Contempt of court (child support) — June 4
Carmella Ann Fox, 26, of Whitesburg, Georgia — Holding for Baldwin County, Alabama — June 6
Sonny Marshall McCormick, 50, of Roanoke — Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act violation, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of marijuana — June 6
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
