Wadley’s class of 2026 was the first to receive their diplomas as all three county schools held their graduation ceremonies Saturday.
Over 130 county high school seniors are now high school graduates after the three county high schools held their graduation ceremonies Saturday. Wadley began the day graduating 32 students, led by valedictorian Omar Valle and salutatorian Ansley Jones.
Woodland’s afternoon ceremony saw 40 students receive their diplomas, with Adyson Chambers earning valedictorian honors and Case Geter as the class salutatorian.
The final ceremony of the day was in Wedowee, where 60 RCHS students walked across the field at Hulond Humphries Stadium. The RCHS valedictorian was Elisabeth Hannah. Payton Murray was the salutatorian.
Handley will hold its graduation ceremony Thursday at Wright Field in Roanoke.
