Curtis Hampton Slay

(ANNISTON) A memorial service for Curtis Hampton Slay, 65, of Anniston will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Lon Hurst, Sis. Leigh Slay and Bro. Tim Kelley officiating.

Mr. Slay passed away Friday, May 6, at his residence.

A McComb, Miss., native, Mr. Slay was born Nov. 21, 1956, the son of Billy Bernell and Betty Adams Slay. He was a salesman for Maurice Sporting Goods.

Survivors include his three daughters, Audrey Wilson of Pell City, Beth Nelms (Josh) of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Gina Slay of Columbia, Tenn.; son, Chris Slay (Jordan) of Virginia Beach, Va.; six grandchildren; brother, Adam Slay (Elaine) of Roanoke; stepbrother, Tom Ziglar Jr. (Glenda) of Roanoke; and friend, Leigh Slay of Birmingham. Mr. Slay was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Riley Wilson; and brother, B.B. Slay.
