Ruby Pace Wilson

(EPHESUS, Ga.) Ruby Pace Wilson, 82, of Ephesus, Ga., died Jan. 22, 2021.

A graveside service will be at Gray Hill Church of God Cemetery in Woodland, Ala., on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. CST. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be moved to the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home.

The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Tuesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Wilson was born Feb. 23, 1938, in Harlan County, Ky., to the late Lee Pace and Lessie Grub Pace. She dedicated her life to seeing to the needs of the home. She held a special place in her heart for her late husband, Merlin Wilson, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Christian by faith and a God-fearing woman, she prayed daily. She was a selfless woman who would help anyone in their time of need.

Survivors include two children, James Wilson (Denice Faktor) and Audrey Wilson (Joseph Counts), both of Ephesus; three grandchildren, Misty Wilson, Tina Wilson and Joshua Wilson; seven great-grandchildren, Makilah Wilson, Shad Wilson, Aleea Wilson, Zachary Donnell, Bryson Smith, Liddie Smith and Braelyn Wilson; and a number of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Geneva Pace, and six brothers, Garland, Millard, Bamp, Verlin, George and Clarence Pace.
