Marvin Boyce Pike Sr.

(AUGUSTA, Ga.) Visitation for Marvin Boyce Pike Sr., 91, of Augusta, Ga., will be Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Home.

Mr. Pike died Thursday, Feb. 20, at VA Hospital in Montgomery.

An Augusta native, Mr. Pike was born in Randolph County, Ala., on Oct. 8, 1928, the son of Marvin T. and Katie Hammond Pike. He attended National Hills Baptist Church and retired as a security guard for DuPont.

Survivors include his two sisters, Shirley Smith and Joyce Cantrell (Morgan), both of Roanoke; daughter-in-law, Boonchu Pike of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pike was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Melvina Oxford Pike; son, Marvin B. Pike Jr.; and two brothers, Billy Pike and Gene Pike.
