Billy Ray Mann

(PENTON) Billy Ray Mann, 81, of Penton died Wednesday, May 3, 2019, at his residence

The funeral was Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m. at Penton Church of God with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Mike Campbell and Ray Dunn officiated.

Mr. Mann was born in Penton on March 7, 1938, to the late Cletus and Ethel Phillips Mann. He served in the National Guard and was retired from Lance Cracker Company. He was a farmer and a member of Penton Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Geneva Mann; two children, Wygelia Sims (Joe) and Jeff Mann; three sisters, Nell Cates, Carol Hinkle and Joan Lawson; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, three other brothers, Jack, Tom and Karon Mann and a sister, Cathryne Gunn.
