Eunice Iveller Irwin

(LaGRANGE, Ga.) Funeral services for Eunice Iveller Irwin, 94, of LaGrange, Ga., formerly of Wedowee, will be Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tina Deese officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery, Wedowee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday before services begin.

Mrs. Irwin died Tuesday, Feb. 6, at her residence.

A Wedowee native, Mrs. Irwin was born Oct. 16, 1923, the daughter of John Loy and Ceil Bertie Fowler White. She was a member of Iduma Congregational Methodist Church, Wedowee, and worked as a spinner at Callaway Mills.

Survivors include: one sister, Ione White Bolt of LaGrange; one niece, Wanda J. Newbern; one nephew, Loy Ray Bolt; two great-nieces; four great-nephews; and other great-great-nieces and nephews. Mrs. Irwin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Irwin; and one brother, Olen White.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Newbern, Joel Lewallen, Brian Lewis and Jimmy Harmon.
