Joyce E. Harp

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Joyce E. Harp, 77, of Roanoke will be Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Brand officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Ms. Harp died Thursday, Nov. 30, at Tanner East Alabama.

A Randolph County native, Ms. Harp was born May 15, 1940, the daughter of James Audrey and Virginia Nancy Messer Bailey. She had been a homemaker and was Church of Christ by faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Mapp of Smiths Station; one son, James Billy Towler Jr. (wife, Pam) of Roanoke; three brothers, Thomas R. Bailey of Wetumpka and Cary Joe Bailey and Jackie Blake Bailey, both of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; caregivers, James Charles Mapp and Matthew Sheppard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude Harp; one daughter, Rhonda Puckett; and one brother, James Ray Bailey.
