Greg Kimbrell

(GRAHAM) Greg Kimbrell of Graham died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017. He was 50.

The funeral was Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 11 a.m. EDT at Rock Springs Baptist Church, Raburne. Bro. Chad Morgan and Bro. Darnell Teal officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Greg was born May 16, 1967, in Carrollton, Ga., to Ronald and Glenda Kimbrell. He was a logger by trade and worked for Jerry Noles Logging. He was also a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Glenda Kimbrell of Heflin; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory Chase and Tara Kimbrell of Wilkesboro, N.C.; grandson; sister, Cindy Redden of Whitesburg, Ga.; and special friend, Carrie Lovvorn Phillips. Greg also leaves behind a nephew, and many friends, cousins, uncles and aunts who loved him dearly.

Music will be provided by the church choir. Pallbearers will be Brian Hammond, Adam Downs, Scottie Kimbrell, David Loveless, Clay Kimbrell and Michael Kimbrell.
