Youth Leadership Randolph County graduates third class

On May 9 at the Resource Center of Southern Union State Community College, the third class graduated from Youth Leadership Randolph County (YLRC). YLRC is sponsored by Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, Randolph County Extension Office and Southern Union State Community College. The program is sponsored by a grant from Daniel Foundation of Alabama, WM Grocery and other local businesses and individuals.

Participants for YLRC must be a sophomore or junior in good standing at one of the four high schools in Randolph County and were selected after an application and interview process.

Classes for YLRC include interview skills, workforce management, economic and industrial development, government and money management.
