Mary Magdalene Harvell Cole
(LaGRANGE, Ga.) Mary Magdalene Harvell Cole of LaGrange, Ga., died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Florence Hand Home.
The funeral was Wednesday, April 26, at 2 p.m. at Higgins LaGrange Chapel. Interment followed at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Cole was born July 21, 1926, in Cleburne County, Ala., to the late Joe Harvell and Mae Wright Harvell. Mrs. Cole was a lifelong member of Southwest Baptist Church of LaGrange. She worked at Westinghouse Electric Corporation before she retired.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Douglas Cole of LaGrange; sons, Robert Edward Boggs of Roanoke and John David Boggs of LaGrange; brothers, Howard Harvell of California and Charles William Harvell of LaGrange; sister, Nelda Hemm of Illinois; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Lee Boggs.
