Two injured in Roanoke collision
Two people were injured on Friday afternoon of last week in a vehicle accident on front of the skating rink in Roanoke.
According to the report from Roanoke Police Department, a 2003 Chevrolet S-10, driven by Sherman Swanson, 48, of Roanoke was traveling southbound on U.S. 431 and was coming to a stop when it was struck from behind by a 1993 Saturn, driven by Jacob Alexander Stahmer, 19, of Roanoke.
Swanson and Stahmer’s passenger, Jessica Morgan Alexander, 20, of Roanoke were taken by ambulance to Wedowee Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Stahmer was given citations for no insurance and switched tag.
