Florence Iverson Neal

(CARROLLTON, Ga.) Funeral services for Florence Iverson Neal, 89, of Carrollton, Ga., will be Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Christian Church Cemetery, Graham, Ala.

Mrs. Neal died Monday, June 13, at Carrollton Manor.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Neal was born Oct. 8, 1926, the daughter of Ed and Mint Cosper Iverson. She was a member of Pine Hill Christian Church and worked as a teacher for Carroll County Board of Education.

Survivors include one son, Alan Neal of Elgin, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Casey Hulsey and Jeff Crawford; one sister, Kathrine Stillwell of Woodland; and one brother, Roy Iverson of Tyus, Ga. Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Artis Neal; one son, Gary Neal; two sisters and three brothers.
