Bobby Joe Henderson

(MORELAND, Ga.) Funeral services for Bobby Joe Henderson, 76, of Moreland, Ga., will be Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at 2 p.m. CST at Benefield Funeral Chapel in Wedowee, with the Rev. David Daniel and Bro. Dan Hospice officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Cemetery in Woodland. A private family service will be Friday, Dec. 11, at Mr. Henderson’s residence from 4-6 p.m. EST.

Mr. Henderson died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at his residence.

A Woodland native, Mr. Henderson was born June 11, 1939, the son of James Monroe and Fanny Brown Henderson. He was Baptist by faith and worked as a mechanic for Foley Products.

Survivors include his wife, Wilmer Faye Watts Henderson of Moreland; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stacy and Lisa Henderson and Russell and Tammy Henderson, all of Senoia, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rinice Tanksly and Brinice Holloway, both of Woodland; and three brothers, L.C. Henderson, Jimmy Henderson and Loice Henderson, all of Woodland. Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Randy Henderson; and one daughter, Jan Watson.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Henderson, Kyle Henderson, Cody Crawford, Joseph Henderson, Patrick Henderson, and Matt Eunice.
