Michael Hall Mekkelson

(ROANOKE) Michael Hall Mekkelson, 64, of Roanoke died at his home on Oct. 18, 2015.

A memorial service will be Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. EST at the Guardians Riding Club Clubhouse, 23 Gordon St., LaGrange, GA 30240.

Mr. Mekkelson was born Aug. 18, 1951, to the late William R. Mekkelson and Shirley J. Hall Mekkelson in Lowville, N.Y. Mr. Mekkelson proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Surviving Mr. Mekkelson is his wife Linda Whitfield Mekkelson; sons, Anthony Landrum and Andy Landrum; daughter, Tammy Lynn Landrum; best Bro. Joe Chavez; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one on the way.
