Michael Grant Taylor

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Michael Grant Taylor, 58, will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Burroughs officiating. Burial will follow at Forrester’s Chapel Cemetery, Wadley.

Mr. Taylor died Sunday, Oct. 25, at his home.

A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mr. Taylor was born Sept. 2, 1957, the son of Elmer Grant Taylor and Mary Lynn Calhoun Taylor. He was employed at Candlewick Yarns.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and David McCurry of Roanoke; and three aunts, Mary Joyce Lacy, Gloria Calhoun and Jean Taylor. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents.
