Benjamin Keith Mapp

(LaFAYETTE) Funeral services for Benjamin Keith Mapp, 56, of LaFayette will be Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Mapp officiating. Burial will follow at Penton Church of God Cemetery.

Mr. Mapp died Thursday, Feb. 12, at Sweeney Hospital in Sweeney, Texas.

A Chambers County native, Mr. Mapp was born on Sept. 29, 1958, the son of Benjamin Uzell and Loretta Osborn Mapp. He was a member of Milltown Baptist Church and had been employed with Zachary Construction.

Survivors include: his mother, Loretta Mapp Burks of Roanoke; one daughter, Madeline Elizabeth Mapp of Opelika; one sister, Elena Sudduth of Roanoke; one brother, Jonathan Ashley Mapp of LaFayette; one niece and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his father.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Norred, Wayne Mapp, David Mapp, Glen Osborn, Tommy Rushton, Luke Sudduth and Lee Mapp.
