Mary Ann Proctor

(LINEVILLE) Funeral services for Mary Ann Proctor, 69, of Lineville, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Brother T.J. Martin and Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Lineville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Proctor died Saturday, Sept. 13, at her home.

She was a native of Randolph County but had lived in Clay County since 1980. Mrs. Proctor was a homemaker and above all else enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by five daughters and their husbands: Charlotte and Tommy Martin of Anniston, Cindy Stewart of Heflin, Kathy Stewart (her companion Tim) of LaGrange, Ga., Marie and Jerry Baker of Lineville and Eula and Tyler Campbell of Heflin; four sons and their wives, Larry McCormick, Richard and Belinda McCormick and Gary and Shelby McCormick, all of Woodland, and Ronnie and Renee McCormick of Ashland; five brothers, R.S. Harmon of Roanoke, Gene Harmon of Valley, Harvey Harmon and Gay Harmon, both of Opelika, and Donnie Harmon of Lineville; 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Proctor was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Grover Harmon and Thelma Mae Craven Harmon; her husband of 30 years, William L. Proctor; one brother, Jimmy Harmon; and one sister, Maudine Dewberry.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Poore, Nicholas Martin, Howard Stewart, David Stewart, Cody Lindsey, Davey Lindsey, Daniel McCormick and Dustin McCormick.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
