James Wayne ‘Charlie’ Higgins

(LaFAYETTE) James Wayne “Charlie” Higgins, 47, of LaFayette died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at his residence.

The funeral will be Friday, March 28, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette with the Revs. Michael Stiggers and Donald Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Milltown.

Mr. Higgins is survived by his wife, Cassandra Higgins; children, Azorria Higgins, Sanedria Magby and Chastin Battle; three stepsons, Ya’cobian, Marcellous and Demarius; his mother, Shari (husband, Fredrick) Turner; brothers, Anthony Higgins, Steven Higgins and Akeem Laney; sisters, Judy Daniel, Sharah Hill and Kimberly Laney; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
