Man run over by forklift

CORINTH–A Corinth area man was seriously injured at his residence on Sunday when a forklift ran over him and he was trapped under it.

Jimmy Roe Screws, 70, of 506 County Rd. 59, was transported by Air Evac helicopter to University Hospital in Birmingham.

Vehicle thefts

A maroon 2013 Chevy Silverado, and Yamaha 650 and Yamaha 660 motorcycles were taken from 820 County Rd. 446, in the Bethel East community, on Nov. 10.

A Kia Spectra, four rifles, two handguns, jewelry, keys, hand and power tools, blue 2005 ATV, self-propelled lawnmower, 16-foot jon boat, purse and contents and two knives were taken from 4444 County Rd. 19, in the Pinetucky area, on Nov. 1.

A white 2005 F-150 Ford truck was reported stolen on Nov. 7 at 3309 County Rd. 645, near Big Springs. It was later located parked on Bud Cummings Road with no visible damage.
