William Thomas ‘WT’ Lewis

(WOODLAND) Graveside services for William Thomas “WT” Lewis, 79, of Woodland will be Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at noon at Flat Rock Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Keel officiating.

Mr. Lewis died Monday, Nov. 4, at Wedowee Hospital.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Lewis was born Nov. 27, 1933, the son of Willam Delmar and Era Bailey Lewis. He was a member of Flat Rock Methodist Church, a welder with General Motors and a member of Heaton Lodge #354 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Lewis of LaGrange, Ga.; two daughters, Wanda Crowe (husband, David) of Pine Mountain, Ga., and Patti Sweet (husband, Mark) of Fort Payne; two sons, son, Tommy Lewis of Woodland and Keith Lewis of Graham; stepdaughter, Cheryl Williams of Newnan, Ga.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Robbie Lewis; and one grandson.
