Mary McClendon Turner

(LaGRANGE, Ga.) Mary McClendon Turner, 63, of LaGrange, Ga., died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Southern Regional Hospital in Riverdale, Ga.

Funeral services were Sunday at 3 p.m. at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with the Rev. Derek Farr officiating. Burial followed in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Ms. Turner was born Feb. 5, 1950, daughter of the late Lorene McDonald and the late Homer McClendon. She was a restaurant owner in Valley and LaGrange, Ga., for years.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Turner-Pike of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Jon and Kenzie Pike of Roanoke; one sister, Lin Hoff of LaGrange; a niece and several nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; and several aunts. In addition to her parents, Ms. Turner was preceded in death by her three brothers, Jim McClendon, Mark McClendon and Steve McClendon.
