Jack Jr. McKissic

(WEDOWEE) Jack Jr. McKissic, 57, of Wedowee died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at University Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 30, at 1 p.m. CDT at Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Wedowee, with the Rev. Janice Clark, pastor, and the Rev. Craig McClure officiating. Burial will follow Pine Flat Cemetery.

Mr. McKissic is survived by his wife, Jacquline Marable; three daughters, Christie Minnefield of Bowdon, Ga., and Miracle and Aaliyah McKissic, both of Wedowee; two stepdaughters, Felicia Houston of Valley and Debra Woodgett of Birmingham; one son, Jack Jr. McKissic II of Wedowee; one stepson, Bobby Daniel of Carrollton, Ga.; six brothers, Jackie Holloway and Henry B. Holloway, both of Chicago, Albert Holloway and Marvin McKissic, both of Wedowee, Wesley McKissic of St. Mary, Md., and James Charles McKissic of Bowdon; five sisters, Annie Bell Holloway of Atlanta, Betty Lowe, Icie Bell Langston and Shirley Ann Knight Marable, all of Wedowee and Jackie McKissic of Washington, D.C.; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a host of god-children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
