Beatrice Mitchell Gray

(CLEWISTON, Fla.) Beatrice Mitchell Gray, 68, of Clewiston, Fla., died Friday, March 29, 2013, at home in Clewiston.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 5, at 11 a.m. at Turning Point Church of God, Clewiston, with Pastor Troy Ezell officiating. Interment will be in Ortona Cemetery, Moore Haven, Fla.

She was born May 16, 1944, in Randolph County, Ala., to the late Arnton Jefferson and the late Eula Mae Greggs Mitchell.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joy Ellen White and Benny of Desarc, Mo., and Cheryl Lynn Silva and Frederico of Clewiston; two brothers, Sam Mitchell and Fred Mitchell, both of Clewiston; one sister, Diane Byars of Clewiston; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Gray Jr.; two sisters, Ethel Loudermilk and Mae Gutherie; and a brother, Jeff Mitchell.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston.
