Josette Joiner

(CARROLLTON, Ga.) Funeral services for Josette Joiner, 83, of Carrollton, Ga., were Saturday, March 23, 2013, at noon CDT at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, Woodland, Ala., with the Rev. William Crawford officiating. Burial followed at the adjoining cemetery.

Ms. Joiner died Monday, March 18, at Eatonton Health and Rehab, Eatonton, Ga.

A native of Paris, France, Ms. Joiner was born Sept. 15, 1929, daughter of Alfred Emile and Anna Julie Lauteard Colrat. She had worked as an LPN with Bowdon Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Andree Mason of Peoria, Ill., and Beatrice Josette Simone of Eatonton; two sons, Douglas Reavely of Douglasville, Ga., and Jerome Joiner of Carrollton; one brother, Bernard Fere of Paris; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Henriette Carlotti and Jeanine Colrat.
