Adean Pool Hadley

(NEWELL)Funeral services for Adean Pool Hadley, 87, of Newell will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Burroughs officiating. Burial will follow in Wedowee City Cemetery.

Mrs. Hadley died Saturday, Jan. 19, at her residence.

Mrs. Hadley was born Sept. 22, 1925, the daughter of Otis and Verdia Holloway Pool. She was a retired self-employed cosmetologist and a member of Union Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hadley is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Jimmy McCain of Newell; one son and daughter-in-law, Max and Vivian Hadley of Newell; one sister, Adelle Stewart of Hazelgreen; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and special caregivers Judy Mitchell, Dorothy Dewberry, Debra Spratlin and Beverly McCain. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Lee Hadley; and three brothers Braxton , Brosco and W.F. Pool.

Pallbearers will be Richard Craft, Billy Edwards, Kendall Pool, Tim Pool, Wendell White and Dennis Pool.
