Dorthell Carter

(MILLTOWN) Dorthell Carter, 77, of Milltown died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at her residence.

The funeral will be Friday, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m. CST at Greater Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette (Penton) with the Revs. Rodney Thomas Sr., pastor, and Ed Vines officiating. Burial will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her children and their spouses, Lucious and Judy Carter and Kathy and Charles Daniel, all of Lanett, James Carter of Milltown, Rosa and Dondi Smith, Doris A. Carter (Bill Wenck) and Terry Carter, all of LaFayette; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Katherine James and Johnnie Jackson, both of Lanett, Willie Dell Carter of Milltown, and Daisey Daniel of Atlanta; two brothers, William Carter of Atlanta and Eddie Carter of Milltown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
