Ruby Daniel

(LaFAYETTE) The funeral for Ruby Daniel, 99, of LaFayette was Friday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at Jeff Jones Funeral Home. Burial was at the Old Fredonia Cemetery.

Mrs. Daniel died Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange, Ga.

Born April 25, 1913, in Clay County, she was a member of Community Baptist Church in LaFayette. Mrs. Daniel was retired from West Point Pepperell after many years of service and had operated a beauty parlor in LaFayette for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Maxine Teel of Opelika and Myra Seawright of Valley; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 39 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Daniel; and daughters, Mary Daniel Osborne and Fannie Mae Daniel Osborne.
