Valerie Cunningham Ivy

Graveside services for Valerie Cunningham Ivy, 58, will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Ivy was born Aug. 27, 1954, in Roanoke, Ala., to Wesley and Mary Moon Cunningham and died Oct. 20, in Tyler, Texas.

Valerie loved the outdoors. She loved to garden and watch the hummingbirds around her feeders, but most of all she loved her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Garry Ivy; daughters, Vicki Gilbert and Christie Adams and husband Brandon, all of Kilgore, Texas; son, Danny Gilbert Jr. and wife Nona of Kilgore; stepson, Aaron Ivy and family of Longview, Texas; five granddaughters; and four grandsons. She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Mary Virie DeChristofaro and Chris DeDhristofaro, and a brother, James Phillip Cunningham.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Lakeview Funeral Home, Longview.
