Charlie Edward Jones

(ROANOKE) Charlie Edward Jones, 63, of Roanoke, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at LaFayette Nursing Home in LaFayette.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. at Mount Bethel United Methodist Church in Roanoke, with the Rev. Anthony Sims, pastor, and Rev. Harvey Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Bessie Lee Jones of LaGrange, Ga.; one son and his wife, James Roger and Melissa Jones of Roanoke; three daughters, Conswello Jones and Tiffany Jones-Davis and husband Trevor, all of LaGrange, and Barbara Lewis of Roanoke; four sisters, Shirlene Hernandez of Detroit, Daisie Hall and Annye Carlilse, both of Roanoke, and Mozell McCollough of Kennesaw, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Willie P. Lewis; nine sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
