Patsy Ruth Bailey

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Patsy Ruth Bailey, 78, of Roanoke will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Harold Bonner and Roger Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Bailey died Saturday, July 28, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Bailey was born April 15, 1934, the daughter of Patrick E. and Altha Coon Bailey. She was a member of Lebanon Christian Church, had worked as a circuit board builder for L.A. California and liked bowling with her grandchildren, playing cards, quilting and watching TV.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Curt Yarbrough and Ann and John Gurr, all of Roanoke; three sisters, Sharron Bryant of Warner Robins, GA, Lajuana Torrance of Simi Valley, Calif., and Evelyn Garrett of LaGrange, Ga.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Yarbrough, Ralph Gooden III, Adam Yarbrough, Jacob Yarbrough, S.A. Kidd and Harry Botsford.
