Gerald Perry

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Gerald Perry, 73, of Roanoke were Sunday, June 24, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Midway Methodist Church, Wedowee, with the Revs. Cloyse Johnson and Ed Grooms officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Perry died Friday, June 22, at Wedowee Hospital.

Mr. Perry was born Aug. 21, 1938. He was a retired salesman for Mid-South and a member of Midway Methodist Church.

Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Loyice J. Perry of Wedowee; three daughters and their husband, Ann and Dwayne Adamson of Wedowee, Fran and Jim Dale of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jan and Arvil Tilley of Jackson’s Gap; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Perry; and his first wife, Judy Ann Perry.

Pallbearers were Billy Pitts, James Bryant, Joe Thrower, Billy Holly, Leroy Spradlin and Brad Dale.
