Two local roads to get state resurfacing help

MONTGOMERY–Two local roads are among 105 road and bridge improvement projects that will move forward as part of the first round of funding for ATRIP–the Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program.

In Randolph County, County Road 65 from County Road 61 to County Road 59 will be resurfaced. The ATRIP amount will be $552,983, and the local match will be $138,246.

In Chambers County, County Road 278, the Roanoke-to-LaGrange road, will be worked from U.S. 431 to the Georgia state line. The ATRIP amount will be $1,117,363, and the local match is $279,341.
