Town hall meeting this Thursday
Citizens of Randolph County are being urged to turn out for a town hall meeting Thursday, April 12, at 7 p.m. at the Randolph County Courthouse courtroom in Wedowee.
Hosting the meeting to discuss the legislation for redistribution of tobacco tax funds being advertised by state Rep. Richard Laird and state Sen. Gerald Dial are the Randolph County Republican Party, the Randolph County Democratic Party, the Randolph County Water Authority, the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce and the Randolph County Industrial Development Council.
These groups met Monday night to plan the town hall meeting. They say this is an urgent matter which affects all citizens of this county. The representatives have been invited.
