Harold Junior Cantrell
(SARALAND) Harold Junior Cantrell, 67, of Saraland died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, March 29, at 3 p.m. with burial at Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cantrell was a graduate of Daviston High School. He was an employee of Fulton County Public Works in Atlanta, until he was drafted by the U.S. Army. After serving two years with the army, he returned to Fulton County and worked until his retirement. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Cantrell was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Fincher Cantrell; his father and stepmother, Paul and Mary Duffie Cantrell; a son, Steven Cantrell; and four brothers, Billy, Horace, Hurshell and Chris Cantrell.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Thompson Cantrell; one son, Phillip Cantrell of Dallas, Ga.; one stepson, Alan McLean and wife Gail of Saraland; and one stepdaughter, Angie McLean of Tampa, Fla.; four brothers, Wesley Cantrell of Lithia Springs, Ga., Leon Cantrell of Smyrna, Ga., Larry Gosdin of Cedartown, Ga., and Paul Cantrell of Festus, Mo.; two sisters, Judy Gosdin Glebosky and Mary Edith Cantrell Hale of Opelika; five grandchildren; three precious great-grandchildren; and as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
