Betty Lee Ferrell

(ROANOKE) Funeral service for Betty Lee Ferrell, 72, of Roanoke will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness with Bro. Levert Caldwell officiating. Mrs. Ferrell will lie in state one hour before the service at the Kingdom Hall. Burial will follow in Randolph Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Ferrell died Sunday, Feb. 19, at her home.

Mrs. Ferrell was born June 8, 1939, the daughter of, Thomas and Nobie Tucker Pressley. She had been a homemaker.

Mrs. Ferrell is survived by her husband, Jasper Ferrell of Roanoke; five daughters, Melody Rathel of and Julie Bateman, both of Phenix City, Jann Windham and Beverly Paulson, both of Valley, and Deborah Lashley of Cusseta; two stepdaughters, Pam Henry and Vanesa Bailey of Roanoke; five sons, Thomas Barrett of Wetumpka, Jerry Barrett and Anthony Barrett, both of Roanoke, Freddie Barrett and Charles Barrett, both of Valley; stepsons, Fred Ferrell and Kergie Ferrell, both of Roanoke; one sister, Edith Smith of Roanoke; 38 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Lavern Daniels.
