(BOWDON, Ga.) George Prothro Sr., 49, of Bowdon, Ga., died Sunday, June 19, 2011.

The funeral will be Saturday, June 25, at Oak Grove Worship Center in Newell, Ala., at 2 p.m. EDT. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
