Marsha Re Allen

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Marsha Re Allen of Roanoke were Friday, April 22, 2011,a t 1 p.m. at Rock Mills Baptist Church. The Revs. Jerome Fannin, L.B. Houston, Akhenaten Amon and Tom Staples officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Ms. Allen died Friday, April 15, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.

She was a member of Rock Mills Baptist Church.

Ms. Allen is survived by her husband, James Barsh of Roanoke; a stepdaughter, Debbynie Barsh of Roanoke; two stepsons, Dwan Barsh of Guam and Terrance Barsh of Atlanta; her mother, Luree Allen of Roanoke; seven brothers, Stanley Allen Sr., Rocelius Allen Jr. and Stafford Allen of Roanoke, Darrell Allen and Rev. Lamar Allen of Dallas, Ga., Reginald Allen of LaGrange, Ga., and Ronald Allen of Birmingham; three sisters, Vanessa Carlisle of Roanoke, Ruth Lyons of Opelika and Cassandra Allen of Birmingham; one uncle and six aunts; and host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
