Staley Staples

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) Staley Staples, 83, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010.

He was born in Wadley, Ala., on Feb. 19, 1927, and he worked for Westinghouse for 20 years. He also worked for the Columbus City School Board for five years, and he enjoyed fishing.

Staley is survived by his children, Gary (Janice), Kenneth (Carrie), Ronald and David; former wife, Ruth Staples; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ola Staples; and siblings, Marie, Alma, Margaret, Rosa, Tom and Grady.
