Anna Dean Greer Romine

(AUBURN) The funeral for Anna Dean Greer Romine, 97 of Auburn, formerly of Rogersville, will be Monday, July 19, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Rogersville Church of Christ with Bro. Randy Todd and Bro. Dale Jenkins officiating. She will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in Civitan Cemetery, Rogersville.

Mrs. Romine died Saturday, July 17, at Bethany House, Auburn.

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce and husband Herman Todd of Auburn; one son, Gerald and wife Louise Romine of Roanoke; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

Mrs. Romine was born May 13, 1913, the daughter of James Hamilton and Susie Bedingfield Greer. She was a member of Auburn Church of Christ and had been a homemaker. Mrs. Romine was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Romine; one daughter, Betty Sue Magness; two grandchildren; four brothers; and seven sisters.
