James Hansel Holloway

(ROANOKE) The funeral for James Hansel Holloway, 58, of Roanoke will be Wednesday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Tim Whaley and Steve Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Wedowee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9.

Mr. Holloway died Monday, March 8, at East Alabama Medical Center.

Survivors include one son, Michael Wayne Holloway of Franklin, Ga.; two sisters, Diane Parmer of Roanoke and Shelia Holloway of Roanoke; and his girlfriend, Mary Hanson of Marquette, Mich.

Mr. Holloway was born Nov. 6, 1951, the son of Winford D. and Blanche Whaley Holloway. He was a mechanic for Mohawk Industries. Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alicia Holloway.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Sanders, Tim Frye, Keith Farmer, Vayden Pate, Howard Chappell and Rick Robinson.
