until 9:00 am (Central Time) March 12, 2010, and then publicly opened and read aloud. The project involves the construction of approximately 120 LF of 3″ DIP; 2,080 LF 3″ PVC (Class 200) ; 3,240 LF 3″ PVC (Class 250) ; 840 LF of 6″ DIP; 2,100 LF of 6″ PVC (Class 250); 8,400 LF of 6″ PVC (Class 200); 350 LF of 8″ DIP; 2,660 LF of 8″ PVC (Class 250); 6,180 LF of 8″ PVC (Class 200); and associated equipment with an established construction budget of $349,665.

Project No. 111-30 – Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS for Project No. 111-30 may be obtained at the office of Nelson & Company located at the above referenced address upon payment of $35.00 for each set, none of which will be refunded. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The awarded contractor shall be allotted 150 calendar days from the notice to proceed to fully complete the project. Liquidated damages of $100.00 per calendar day shall be paid for any delay of completion over the 150 allotted calendar days.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. The projects will be funded in part with grants from CDBG. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
