PUBLIC NOTICE

The State of Alabama Department of Transportation will hold a Public Informational Meeting for Project No. STPAA-0022(505) on State Route 22 in Roanoke on April 16, 2009, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Justice Center, 30 West Point Street, Roanoke, Alabama.

Project No. STPAA-0022(505) is a proposal by the State of Alabama Department of Transportation to realign State Route 22 from the SR-22/Main Street Intersection to US-431 in Roanoke. Additional right of way will be required for this project.

Preliminary layouts for the proposed project will be on display.

The purpose of the meeting is to permit individuals, public officials, agencies, and organizations to express their views on the proposed project. Anyone attending the meeting will be given an opportunity to submit written comments on the proposed project. The meeting will be informal and those wishing to attend may do so any time between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Representatives of the Alabama Department of Transportation will be present to discuss the project with individuals on a one on one basis.
