Pearl E. Sims

(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Pearl E. Sims, 88, of Roanoke will be Sunday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lanita Cotney officiating. Burial will follow in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Hogansville, Ga.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Mrs. Sims died Friday, Feb. 20, at Traylor Nursing Home.

Survivors include one brother, Robert Smith of Forest Park, Ga.; and two nieces, Patricia Cummings and Kathy Hunt, both of Wadley.

Mrs. Sims was born Jan. 11, 1921, daughter of Robert Lee and Odessia Watkins Stewart. She was a member of Life in the Word Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Sims; and her parents.
